Welcome to Deadfit. Your privacy is a top priority for us. This policy explains what information is collected, what isn't, and why.
Core Principle: Your Fitness Data is Stored Locally
All of your sensitive data—including your activity history, workout routes, steps, and distance—is stored exclusively on your device. We, the developers, do not have servers to store this personal data, and we cannot access it. It never leaves your control.
This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the data that is collected to run the service, your rights, and how the law protects you. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. What Data is Collected and Why
A) Physical Activity and Location Data (Stored Locally)
To provide core features, the Application collects the following data, which is stored and processed exclusively on Your device:
- Activity Data: Information like steps taken, distance traveled, and active time.

You can enable or disable location access at any time in Your Device settings. Again, this data is not uploaded to our servers.
B) Anonymous Usage Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use this service to understand how users interact with our app. This helps us find and fix bugs and make the app better. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data, such as which features are used most often. This analytics data is not linked to your personal identity or your specific fitness logs. You can learn more by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms.
C) In-App Purchase Management (RevenueCat)
To manage subscriptions, we use RevenueCat. This service helps verify your purchase with the App Store / Google Play and unlock premium features. It uses an anonymous ID to track your subscription status (e.g., active or expired) and does not have access to your payment details or fitness data. You can view their privacy policy here: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
3. Data Security & Retention
Your personal fitness data is secured by your device's operating system. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Anonymous data collected by our third-party services is subject to their respective retention policies.
